Help the new guy out. What works best for cleaning the gel-coat? What about the wax? Snow covered but getting into the low 50s in Chicago. I'm getting anxious!

Wash with any good mild car wash soap (I use armour all cold water formula) , wax with protect all (super slick and shiney-bugs spray off cap easily)and treat tires and awning with 303 protectant (has uv blockers and only product approved for rubber roofs by dicor).

I use blue coral wash and wax. Does a good job for me. Tried a couple of the RV specific ones and wasn't impressed. Probably the bigger issue is what to clean the roof with. Rubber roofs can't tolerate petroleum products. I use the liquid spic and span. The rubber roof material manufacturer used to recommend Spic and Span on there website, but thne they came out with there own cleaning products.

I feel your pain! Last year we had 3 foot drifts that kept us from getting the FW out. Delayed our AZ trip for a few days. Longest days on recorded!
