I have been jonesen to camp bad here this past month or so. It is to cold to get out for us in Ohio. So I have been shopping for things we MUST have for the trailer. Lets see so far I got a curved shower curtain for Dh to install, a over the door towel rack for kitchen cupboard, adjustable spice rack for DH to install, a few rooster accessories for the kitchen, new lights for outside I got after Christmas . We will put them at our site out at the seasonal campground. Oh yeah I also bought collapsible measuring cups and bowls, and soon will get the collapsible collendar. This should free up some cupboard space. So how about you what have you been buying that you just MUST have for your trailer this winter?

yes, while jonesen to camp, I too have been buying a few things here and there and making a list of projects for when the season starts....ordered a 360 Degree black tank vent cover, purchased a new inline water filter from Wally world, picked up a handful of Xmas decorations on clearance for Xmas in August, bought a new set of Corel dishes & cups to replace our mis-mash & paper varieties, made an appointment for opening day (April 18th) with the RV repairman for that hwh leak I found when winterizing, and diligently reading rv.net for anything that I may have missed.
Happy Planning Everyone! )

I received a collapsible bowl set for Christmas for the camper, some new towels, cabinet struts for the overhead cabinets, great ideas for hubby to install a PVC tube under the camper for the sewer pipe...I've saved and printed lots of pictures from this site with ideas for better utilization of the overhead cabinets.
I am still looking for a good small spice rack, and better cushions for the dinette (we don't have a couch and spend our inside time sitting at the dinette).

I think we've all been busy with TT pruchases. Our dining room table is burried with trailer projects.
Transfer pump for transferring freshwater from portables to holding tank.
Macerator pump for dumping black/gray tanks at home (with 50' 12 volt extension cord).
Power Inverter.
Back-up camera system.
Counter top extension.
Two flat screen televisions with associated mounts (third one on the way).
Six new sleeping bags stacked in the corner.
I've got a lot of wiring to do, soon as the snowman gives up.

After saying since 1999 that Big RVitis wasn't going to sway us away from our wonderful rig below (and after last year's 9 month trip), I spent the winter researching SLIGHTLY bigger trailers! Can't find any under 29 feet that have as much closet space (48") and pantry space (15") as our 22ft. TT, due mostly to what I consider the wasted space devoted to sleeping sofas.
Still looking, and wanting to stay under 27 ft. and 5000# actual dry weight.
Meanwhile, we updated our screen door latching system with the more modern plastic handle latches vs. the older style rollers and magnet system.
Even though still in the 20's here at first light, I flushed out the water system antifreeze today and sanatized it in preparation for heading for California in a few days: Springtime here we come!

Since we have a new TT, we are still feeling our way. And since this is not our first TT, I need to do somemore weeding out. Tax return coming in handy for a slide awning(DH insists) and a bigger door grab handle. I also am working on DH for some new awning lights, you know the big round ones!!! Still trying to find a plastic tray/basket that will fit in our corner mounted over the sink cabinet, and not having any luck! Not a lot of space for decorative things, but I have a storage bin under the bed for seasonal things like towels, placemats and small decorative things. I'm trying to get a variety of things that are similar, and will just change out as the seasons and holidays pass.

(Wish we had a "crying" icon)
I can't get through the snow bank to our TT! But you can bet the first weekend without snow (or mud caused from snow melt) I'll be out there getting it cleaned up and ready to go!
I have bought an ice cream ball, spice rack, towel holder for the bathroom. So far.........
