On my new 22 gallon blue tote !

Still need to cut off the excess axle, went through 6 or more of the cheap c_r_a_p drill bits from HF, ended up buying a single bit from Home Depot for $2 and some change that worked flawlessly-

But the wheels came from HF, and for $4 each you can't beat it. And the drill press clamp came from HF and works just fine as well.

You can see the difference between the new and old wheels in the last pic.

I think you can buy snap on caps that will work fine after you cut off the axle. This gets rid of sharp and rough edges.

Nice job. I use HF wheels like this for a lot of various carts we have. A bargain, their drill bits are worthless though lol...

Finishing this up was the first order of the day:

Put the edges of the end of the axles against the grinder, took off any sharp stuff. Came out good, I'm happy with this. Thanks to all before me who paved the way to make something better.
