We are planning on booking a week at Lake George RV Park.
Does anyone recommend one area of the park over others?
We'd like a shaded site off the beaten path if such an area exists there.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You!

Joe, we stayed ther once about 6 years ago at the bottom of the park closer to the indoor pool. It was a very nice and clean park we like going to Lake George Escape better. The park just seemed friendlier.

The loop from 89 to 127 seems almost like a separate campground. I can't reemember how much shade there was in that area though.

Why was my post deleted, informing another member that they didn't read the post before replying to it? What moderator found fault in that post?

I have been there two times over the past three years. I prefer the section on top near the office/store. I find it not to be as "busy" and noisy as the other sections of the campground. I like the convenience of being by the store, showers and pool. Most of these sites have trees for shade and beauty. And my kids love riding their bikes down the hills in this section of the campground. I love Lake George RV. It is one of my favorite campgrounds. A bit pricey, but worth it. You can go wrong.

We stayed at lake george rv park last august for a week. The park is nice, clean. Our site was ok. We went with 5 other families.Only problem with park is there are no organized activities during the day. You must find your own entertaintment during the day. If your a shopaholic you found the right spot.Tons of stores, outlets, restaurants.Oh one more thing... lots of traffic on the local streets so take the trolley
