We just bought our first travel trailer and wondering where everybody is getting there USA decals for there RV and the different colored states to fill it up with? What are they called? What are the rules for putting states on it? Do you have to spend the night or just pass thru? This site is so helpfull, thanks for everybody answering my newbe questions.

We mark all the states we have been to with the trailer. Some people makr states they have been to with or without RV. Welcome to the forum. And happy travels!

Hi most rv dealers have the state decals as for thr "rules" it's really up to you how to mark where you've been some only where they camp, others everywhere they've been whether or not camping.....some every new camper new state decals and the "new trips" etc......I have marked everywhere I have been wether or not I was camping at the time but I have been around quite a few states and I'm happy showing where I've been. We also got ours at Camping World.
Your map, your rules. For us to add a state we either camp there, or spend entire day touring state with TT and playing tourist. For us, just driving thru does not count.

We have seen the states stickers in most RV supply type places. As mentioned above, everyone has their own "rules". For us, to post a state we have to have camped in the state with the RV.

I have seen them at some Wal-Marts.

I have seen them at WalMart, Camping World and certan RV dealerships have them in their stores.
