I have two depending on what I'm after: Defeated Creek COE in Carthage, TN, and Fort Wilderness.

For us it would have to be #1 Normandy Farms in Foxboro Ma.
#2 Glen Ellis Family Campground in Glen NH
#3 Fort Wilderness.

Normandy Farms has all the luxuries, and is by far the cleanest campground. Glen Ellis is the opposite of Normandy as far as luxuries, but is clean. The campground is surrounded by the Ellis River on one side and the Saco river on the other. Tubing on the rivers is awsome. FW speaks for itself.

I would say Spring Mill state park in Mitchell, IN. and Brown County state park in Brown County Indiana. Hard to sat which is better.

What was your favorite campground you have stayed in or the best state you have stayed in? I think it will be cool to see where everybody has been. I'm new to rving and have only stayed in one campground. Some of you have been around, I hope this helps us that are new to staying away from home.

Given this a lot of thought – seems like the favorite one might just be the last one I was in – but that’s all wrong.

When you really get down to it is the first night at a Wal*Mart when we head back to Colorado. Every night after it just keeps getting better – but without the first night on the way out I’d still be at home.

I guess its all in how you look at it.

We went a couple of times in Adirondack area near Lake George and din't care for either of them. We have been going to Kampersville at Lake Dunmore in Vermont and love it there. Kids keep busy and lots to do. Downfall, campsites are close together. ALso last fall we went to Camp Eaton in York Harbor Maine and I loved it there. Close walk to the ocean and restaraunts.

This year we have plans on trying new campgrounds. I have 3 in mind that we are going to try.

That's a hard choice. I can't really name the favorite. We love to go to Curry Hammock-the Keys, Henderson Beach-Destin,Fl, Topsail-Destin, Fl, River Plantation-Sevierville,TN, and Fall Creek Falls-Pikeville,TN. Like each for different reasons. Actually, my favorite is the last place I camped.

Only been RVing for a couple years, so I am not an expert, but the one so far is......MARYHILL STATE PARK. Its on the Washington State side of the Columbia Gorge and very nice. It is arranged in a large round circle with the center wide open (except for the bathroom / showers)
