SLIDE! SLIDE! SLIDE! Would never buy another TT without one. Been there done that won't do it again! We love the added room it gives us and it is important to us since we have 2 kids and a dog that goes with us everywhere. If it rains or the weather is bad and we are stuck inside this really helps us out so we aren't on top of each other.

The real question is not slide or no slide, but how many slides?

Wouldn't have another camper without a living room super slide. (Couch and table).. Next camper will probably have bedroom slide.

This is our first trailer with a slide and it is just a single slide for the dinette since we have a front couch with lots of room in that area. The dinette slide is directly across from the sink/kitchen area and really give us the room to go back and forth in the trailer when working in the kitchen. It's tight getting by with the slide in and it only blocks the TV entertainment area and one cupboard area so it's not that bad when closed.

If I ever get another TT which I probably won't it will have at least one slide.

We stayed in my parents 27' Airstream years ago with no slides. I couldn't even get my wife interested in getting a TT of our own until we looked at some with slides. Purchased a 29' TT with one slide. Changed to a 30' MH with one slide. Next unit will probably be another MH but whatever it is it will have a 2 slide minimum according to DW.

For anyone who has kids, is full timing, or spends most of the time inside the RV, I think slides are great.

But not for us. My DW and I are firmly planted in the "less is more" crowd and prefer a comfortable but simpler setup. (By mutual agreement our teenagers have been relocated to a tent! ). For us, a slide is just a hole in the side of a trailer that adds weight, cost and adds maintenance - and is just another leak waiting to happen.

We have three slides and love it. There must be a reason we now have 4 slides or full slides. Very few people who have them would go without.
