Each manufacturer, LITERALLY, "makes up" it's own codes so there is very little that can ACCURATELY be assumed about the codes. With SOME manufacturers the code contains a vague indication of the LENGTH of the RV while others are just numbers. Some use an intuitive letter designation, such as the BH for bunk house, while others do not. Best way to find out about the floor plan is to either VIEW the RV or ask questions of the advertiser. If you make assumptions you will be right some times and wrong on others. Just for the record my F-150 is NOT 150 ANYTHINGS long Good luck / Skip

26rbs on our Coachman means rear bath slide. the 26ft is box size. The actual length list by Coachman and ins co is 30ft.

I think it helps to know some of these when one is shopping the different brands. Its useful to know, for instance, that an S means slide which is probably only about 18 inches or so... but SS means super slide which might be 3 or 4 feet. Big difference both in terms of area and weight.

these codes can change within the same mfg from time to time and there is no standard used by the industry...
you have to understand, the RV industry got their first computer with-in the last decade, and haven't had much time to catch up in quality or technology yet...
heck coachmen still supplied buggies whips with each new purchase well into the 60's...

We currently have a popup camper and waiting to take delivery of our new TT. For our camper, I created our own acronym.
Coleman 25PIMATPU "Pain in my arse to pop up". Thus, why we are buying the TT.
