We put industral velcro in about 4 places on bottom. It sticks well, Had trouble removing to take in house for winter. Then for travel, we place a pillow between slide and TV and another behind. No problems so far.

We have storage under our bed and put our 20" under then with a blanket wrap. Now that we upgraded to a 26" dvd combo I lay it at an angle between the bed and wall wrapped with the blankets and pillows. It travels well there.

I'm also looking at upgrading to a 26in. I 'am wondering if the bracket on the one I have now will fit a new one anyone know if these are universal?

In our travel trailer we only have/had a tv stand so we would unhook it and place it on the bed, under the pillows, when travelling/in storage.

Here is what I did with mine and have had no problems during many miles of travels over some rough interstates.

Bedroom TV. Screwed the bracket into the metal wall stud.

Mounted 32" HDTV over the opening where the old 27" was.

Mounted on a piece of plywood hinged on one side. Now have much additional storage for DVDs and Games. Can also swing it out to see from the table.

Storage and access to connections.

That looks like a great solution. We have been thinking about what do do in our 5th-wheel and I think you have just solved our problem.
Thanks for posting those great pictures.
