Hi, does anyone know a good place to buy a wheel lock and/or hitch lock for a tent trailer. I have found plenty of websites but I haven't found many that ship to Canada. (We live in Vancouver)

Thanks

Vicki

These are fairly common trailer items and should be available at almost any auto parts supply house or rv dealer.

Hitch/coupler locks are available everywhere, as mentioned....

I use McGard wheel lug nut locks....they're in Orchard Park, NY....don't see any Canadian office on their website, but you can email them from mcgard.com....I bought my first set from a dealer over 30 years ago.....I suspect you'll find they have Canadian distributors & dealers in your vicinity---at least someone in Canada that could ship to you.
Good luck....

There should be several sources around Vancouver. Here is one for you to look at; http://www.go-rv.com/coast/do/catalog/main?dealerId=998
and another
http://fraserway.channelbladelive.com/content.asp?nav=111065&cpid=7828&

They both have the same online catalogs, however, Fraserway looks to be a larger operation.

Hope this is some help.

You can try Meridian RV in Port Coquitlam or Traveland RV in Langley. Both have parts departments and have all types of locks and gear

Any store in town that sells RV parts will carry all the locks that you need. There are to many to name here, check the yellow pages or better still go to Wal Mart in Capilano Mall.

Canadian Tire

I'll echo Canadian Tire. Every city has one, and every store has a large variety of hitch locks. Most are short overall on the RV accessories as a whole (go to a RV dealer for that), but so far as basic accessories are concerned, they'll have you covered.

WalMart also has a basic RV isle at most Canadian stores.

Well so far...

we tried Fraserway RV but they don't have wheel locks (we have bought a hitch lock)

we tried Canadian Tire but they don't have any wheel locks...

we tried Walmart in Capilano Mall and they don't have any wheel locks ...

will just a hitch lock do the job ???
