Almost done. Just needs a bracket to hold the windshield for summer and some kind of retainers for the cabinets. I was planning doors at first but will probably have more gear stacked next to the cabinets at times making it difficult to open doors. Right now I'm thinking bungees, tie down straps or a type of vertical swinging bar like an old barn or cabin door latch. Anyway, thanks to all on the TC forum who inspired/advised me. This is my first attempt at any type of cabinets. I have a very thick skin. So let me have it. Feel free to point out my bads. Thanks.......DJ

Hi
Very nice, would like to see pics of the right side.
Saw a trailer once similar to yours, but not as nice. The fellow had used 1" by 4" boards on the side, sticking out about 2" on the sides towards the front of cabinet. He then drilled holes out for a larger piece of dow rod, drilled a smaller hole on each end of the dow rod and used clips like on trailer hitch pins, to keep the dow rods centered. The dow rods kept his stuff on the shelves, and also served as a place to hang lighter items.
The 1x4's also had hooks and hangers on the outside for his coats, to hang on.
Not my idea, just saw it once......
Again this looks very nice....

Agreed, very nice job there. I would get the spare on the floor though... that's a good bit of weight to be mounted that high up. And secure the heck out of your storage shelves. It's amazing how far your gear can fly when it gets launched. My first trip I didn't secure mine well and paid the price! What size is this? 6x12? or larger?

Needs more room for fuel!
I am sure you can fit at least one more gas can in that cabinet.

The spare is at the factory location but I can see your point though. Each cabinet is it's own box made with 3/4" plywood glued and screwed with pocket hole joinery. The backs are 1/2" plywood rabbited, glued and screwed. Then each box is screwed to the other. They are also screwed through the floor and held to the front wall with angle iron. I don't think it will go anywhere (I hope). The trailer is 7x16.

Some are water for winter dry camping or extended boondocking.

And yeah, Mooney's right, need more fuel! :-)

Here's a tip. I installed 2x4 metal holders on each side of my trailer. Then when I am traveling, I slip the 2x4's into the holders and they hold the load. You can also slip a piece of plywood against the 2x4's. Also I tie against them when I have to. Sorry have no photos. Nice job on your cabinets. How are you using this trailer. Pulling it behind your TC?

For my job trailer I have a similar setup. I just put a 1" curb in front of the shelves. As long as the trailer sits level then everything stays where it should. I go in and out of bumpy job sites and never had anything out of place.
Maybe some NO SMOKING or DANGER EXPLOSIVE signs are in order. That was humor. Nice job.
