I have won a GPS Unit in a promotion and have my choice of 4 different units. Can you all suggest which one you would take.

1.Garmin Quest
2. Garmin Nuvi 200 (or Nevi)
3. Tom Tom go 720
4. Tom tom One

I know they may not be the best but of the four what order would you put them in.

Will any of them do the job we look for in a GPS??

Thanks in Advance Dad

This Garmin Web Page will let you compare the two Garmin units. Of the two I would choose the Nuvi 200 because it is a more modern design and has more features.

I don't know anything about the other two but I am partial to the Garmin brand. The Nuvi 200 is a sibling to my Nuvi 350, which I like very much.

You will get 1001 answers here. I believe the best thing for you to do is to read all about the features of the various models that you mentioned and go with the one that you feel best suits your needs.
If it was me, I would go with the TOM-Tom 720, but that is me.

God Bless!

I would take the Garman Nuvi 200 as first choice. The TomTom 1 as second. They are all good units. Good luck

I'm a Garmin fan myself, but TomTom makes a great unit as well - I dont think you can go wrong with any of the four. I would go to a store and tinker with each one in person; you will likely find one more comfortable that the rest.

It's not even a contest - #3! I love Garmin, but the Nuvi 200 (the other two aren't even contenders) can't compare to the bigger display and the better graphics on the TomTom. It's not worth $450 to me, but I'd sure take one for free!

Just looking at features I think the Tom tom 720 looks to have alot more. I find on E-bay they are selling new in box for around $300.00. Not counting freight.

I hear so much on here about Garmin but I think since it will be free I may have to try the 720. But I'm still listning to all suggestion.
I think I will find them in the stores and play with them if I can find them.

After looking at specs and description of the 720 I agree that it seems to be the best choice.

get the 720, sell it on ebay. Then go get the tomtom one and pocket the extra $$ to offset the cost of fuel. Thats my personal recommendation

Like old travel decals? me too!
