OMG no brainer 720! Its value alone exceeds all the others! The others are entry level, 720 is higher end and more advanced. I have one.. Only Nuvi equal TT720 are the 800 models as earlier models had the older chip set. The other 3 listed don't compare to the 720 feature for feature and dollar for dollar.
Jump on that 720! You'll have no regrets!

You won in a contest ? Does it mean you choose any without condition attached ? Then grab the TomTom 720 quick. The others are not even in the same class.
By the way that's a generous contest.

Hello Everyone...
Hi Dad4papa2,,,
Let me get in--- my 2 cents worth...
If and I say If you were allowed to get a dollar amount of what you have won and were to apply it to a better GPS system,I would go for the Garmin 7200 GPS...
Why You say?????
1--Its 7" touch screen--(it can be difficult to see the smaller screens)
2--If you ever decide to get a back/up Camera system for you R/V,you can save about 300 bucks by not purchasing a Monitor...The Garmin 7200 can be used instead of a monitor....
I have mine tied into my Voyager back/up Camera...

GPS magazine did a test Garmin v/s Magellen V/S Tom Tom, They ran 3 different test routes and drove as all 3 suggested
In the 1st. route Garmin won hands down
In the 2nd. route Garmin won hands down
in the 3rd. route Garmin won hands down
Does this suggest anything? (GARMIN)
NOTE: they all have faults

Having had both a Magellan 3000 and a Tom Tom One XL, I can say that the TT1 has some nice features not found on the Magellan...for example, it reminds you to take a driving break (Stretching your legs on long drives is very important--there's nothing like a leg cramp in the middle of a long freeway stretch). It has a feature that lets you input that you are (Self) limited to a certain speed--and it warns you if you exceed it. It lets you set a preference to use routes with priority to using carpool lanes or to avoid carpool lanes, the same with toll roads, ferry lanes (those lanes on the freeways that lead to exits but let you back on the freeway--using these can be a great timesaver if the freeway has traffic as they usually are moving well, and sometimes have a higher bridge clearance), however--try to get one that has not only bluetooth connectivity (it can use your cell phone to get traffic info, gas prices nearby or weather at your destination), but get one that has voice control AND cellular bluetooth speakerphone capability, you can have it lookup something, then dial your cellphone and be your speakerphone (this is handy if you're trying to find a restaurant).
Needless to say, the portability of the GPS units is wonderful, you definitely wnat to move it to your tow vehicle once camping, so that you don't get lost in unfamiliar territory--advice: Get mounts installed in both vehicles, and avoid mounting to the windshield--it's illegal in some states to mount anything to the windshield except the rearview mirror overhead. Good luck with your research.

Why yes, Yes it does. It suggests that like most rags, I mean magazines, that they were paid by Garmin to be biased about the outcome of their so called tests.

Lots and lots of good help here. Mike sorry to say I have to choose between about six units and 2 of them are completlety out of the question. Looks like from discussions here that Garmin is some what a favorite. They won't give any Cash in exchange so I'm stuck with the choice's listed here.
I did go to the city today and somewhat comared the TT go 720 with the garmin 200 and the 730 won hands down in my thoughts. However the sales rep must make more money on the upper priced garmin as he took me to a $500.00 unit and showed me. It was cool and seemed ok but was $100.00 higher. Then he showed me the Magellan Maestro 4250 and it was pretty nice. Had about the same features as the 720 and was on sale for the same price as the 720--$399.95. I think I could live with either products but--neither unit from inside the store would locate our home and route us to it. This concerns me on both of them. I don't think they would do that outside in the MH.
So me being pretty much locked in on the choices I will probably pick the 720. I may go back and check to make sure the Magellan isn't in the choices somewhere.
