We are looking for a family-friendly campground near Niagara Falls to stay while we vacation in the area this summer. Does anyone have any recommendations? We will be in a 5th wheel and are looking for full hookups.
Thanks

We were there last August and stayed at Yogi's Jellystone on the Canadian side and had a great time. Easy drive to the Falls and casinos and all the touristy stops. Plenty there for the kids also.

We stayed at KOA on Grand Island. Won't do that again. Way to pricey and packed in with a shoehorn. Did both tours American side and Canadian side both were great.

Agree with H&G regarding KOA, Grand Island. On the American side, 4 mile Creek SP is reasonably priced, very nice but lacks FHUs. Niagara Falls Campground & Lodging is a decent CG on the American side. Not a destination park, but close to the Falls.

The KOA at Lundy's Lane (Canadian side) is a nice campground. Sites are a little small, but overall a good place to stay and quite close to all the tourist stuff.

When my grown kids were inspecting our new fifth wheel, one asked why we bought a trailer that sleeps 4. My reply was that we couldn't find one that sleeps 2!

Visited the Falls in October. We enjoyed AA Royal Campground & Motel. It is half motel, half campground. Sites are concrete, plenty wide, roads are paved, staff was nice. We stayed in a backin, but they have pullthrus too. Some other visitors had complained about a dog kennel next door, but we were at the back and didn't hear them. It's 8-10 miles to the falls, but no shuttle ran during the off season.

My family and I stayed at Riverside Campground (Canadian side) in July. The owner and his family were SUPER! I would definitely recommend them again.

About 4 or 5 miles west on Lundy Lane is a campground on the north side. It is were the road turns to the south west. We stayed there but I don't remember the name of it. It was handy to the falls. This is on the Canadian side.

Four Mile creek does not have full hookups. But for a really memorable stay its the best. Minutes from the falls, it offers super clean, large, well maintained sites. Some sites overlook Lake Ontario.
Lots to do close by as well.
