Adam-12.......congrats on the new truck! I think you will find that even though diesel costs more where you live/camp, the extra mileage you get with the diesel engine vs. the gasser evens things up. In fact, you may even spend less on fuel in the end with the diesel.

Adam-12,congrats on the new truck! You know you want what you want!Had my F-150 for 10 years, when I finally decided to order my Super Duty,I was trying to get all the good towing stuff, but save a few bucks on some frills I really didn't need, the DW said you are going to have this one a LONG time, get exactly what you want,so it's loaded and I'm glad I got exactly what I wanted,ENJOY!

1-ADAM-12, 1-ADAM-12,
SEE THE MAN THAT CAN’T STOP GRINNING,
SUSPECTED OF DRIVING WITHOUT REALIZING SOMETHING IS ATTACHED TO HIS BUMPER...

Congrats, yeah diesel is high, but driving that thing is really, really fun. You’ll find a way to make peace with the extra cost.
