Can anybody give me good directions to Ocean Lakes Campground (Myrtle Beach) from the Hagerstown Maryland area. Havent been there for many years I imagine some routes are better now .

I can't comment on anything north of NC but I-95 to SC38 to 501 S to 544 would work great IMO. Not sure when you last came down but 544 is now four lanes. So the loooonnnngg drive down 544 is easier. 544 deadends into Ocean Lakes.

I would take 81 to 66 to 17 to 95. You can take 295 around Richmond depending on the time of day. Then follow fourcamping's directions. Probably a 9-10 hour drive for you as it takes me about 11 hours and I'm 2 hours norht of you. Will be makng the trip in October.

Just a helpful hint...the exit you will take off of 95 is #181. Just returned from Ocean Lakes yesterday.
