I'll remind Chris to add Dave/Vicki when I get back to DE tomorrow. I came to VA last night, with the truck, to get another load of stuff and meet a potential renter, show the kitties some love, cut the grass, etc. Even worked a shift at the restaurant tonight Heading back to DE in the a.m., and start my new job tomorrow night. I can't WAIT for the pace to slow down, so I can get back into SOME kind of routine. This go-go-go stuff is the PITS! LOL!
You know what we're missing here? One of those cute little ticker time clocks. I don't know how to get them but I'm sure someone (cough, cough) else does!
Tina, I know what you mean about being on the go-go-go! I'm now back in that routine! I'm so waiting for another camping trip! But I guess I gotta earn a little extra ching-ching, so it's off to Joann's I go!

This is going to be a unique camping trip for us... We'll be there Thursday thru Sunday, but I've got to be at work Thursday & Friday, so Friday morning I'll be going to work straight from the camper. We still don't know when Tina's days off will be, so she may be leaving in the afternoon and coming home from work to drinks & campfire. Still dunno where the dog will be (home or camper). I guess it all depends if our schedules overlap or not.
No margaritas for me Thursday night, but Friday night it's GAME ON... LOL
Cheers!

Of course... The AMC Museum is open every day if you'd like to tour it on your own, and I'd be happy to lead a tour through the C-5 (Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday).
All it takes is two minutes to call command post and it might be a few hundred yards walk depending on which plane they tell me is open versus the nearest entry control point.
As I mentioned, I can't get everyone's car on-base at once, so it may take a few trips. But believe me, you've never seen anything like it...
Here's a pic of my dad taken a couple of months ago... (he's 6' 4" but the little guy in front of the big plane)
In the museum it's ok, but on the flightline it isn't. I snapped that shot as we were leaving and prayed nobody saw me do it or they would have confiscated my camera.
Yeah, you're lucky I'm on not on your Security detail! If I saw you taking a pic of our plane (P-3C), I would have to run after you, tackle you down to the ground, and take your camera away from you! I would have a smile on my face and say "the Federal Government wishes to thank you for this film and/or media card. We'll return it to you when we're finished!" Although I haven't had the pleasure of tackling anyone taking pics, some of my co-workers have at Cherry Point! It would be so funny seeing me run in high-heels, too! YIKES!
BTW, Chris, I have a DoD sticker on my truck and a CAC card; will they allow me entry? Want to make sure. . . let me know if I can help.
Cindy
No need to get violent, Cindy. There's really nothing classified about a C-5... I find it ironic that we can't take pictures on our own flightline, however we open the plane up to visitors during airshows and encourage photos.
Sounds to me like you just volunteered to play chauffeur-ess.
BTW, we're casual in the Air Force. No need for a DoD sticker as long as someone in the car has a valid ID.
