What have you guys been charged to have your class A towed? My brother in law took our Monaco to Disney and broke down pulling in to Ft Wilderness. They had to have to unit towed to the local dealer. He and I are arguing over paying for it. He wants to pay for it, but I feel bad that it broke down and I want to pay for it . So my wife and I want to find out about how much it cost.

Two years ago our old Gulfstream gasser broke down on hwy 20 enroute to Clearlake, CA.
The towtruck charged 1000.00 for the 25 mile tow to Clearlake.

It was a Sunday and the nearest available towtruck came from Ukiah, CA after about a six hour wait.

Who was charged for the MH tow?

Who has the invoice?

You or your BIL?

If BIL ask him what the bill cost

He has the invoice and when I asked how much he said he had it. Meaning he was going to pay it.

Next time call and sign up for ERS before you do anything. The $79.95 Special would be cheaper than any tow bill!

1950 dollars Canadian, 125 miles south of Whitehorse, Yukon during our trip to Alaska. After all was said and done Cummins paid the tow and repair due to a faulty lift pump. This was in our 05 Winnebago Journey.

You can expect to pay a big rig tow truck in the $90 to $100 an hour range.

I was towed about 80 miles and the truck came that far. By the time he got there, got it ready to tow,got me where we were going and got the drive shaft back on the bill was $625.

Take him and his family out for dinner. Sounds like he has it, and you are not going to get it out of him. Nice guy your BIL, most would call you asking for your credit card.
