My weekly posting on the Official Blog of The Open Road continues the subject "Top States for RV Friendly Casinos". I'm featuring one state in each post, and this week it's a western state.

Which one? Visit the Blog to find out then come back here and tell us about your favorite casino in that state -- and let me know about any RV friendly casinos I missed!

Happy travels and good luck,

Mac

Hi cjmudd77,

I have a fairly accurate plot of the casino locations on my website using Google maps, but may not be 100% accurate so verify before you head for one of them.

In some areas, the Google satellite photos are detailed enough that you can see the RV parking area from above and decide if it's convenient for you to enter/exit and park. We tow a car 4 wheels down, so we check to see if there's enough room to park, and leave the next day, without backing up.

If you gamble, they're all friendly. See the pit boss.

Hi Mac ! We really enjoy the Spotlight 29 casino. California really isn't top on our list to visit, but we still have 2 daughters there. After Quartzsite we head out the 10 fwy and always stop at the Spotlight. They have a huge parking area in back for RV'ers and it fills up almost every night. They even have employees in golf carts going out to take you to and from the casino. One point I'd like to add, if anyone needs it, across the fwy at the Love's station they have a dump, free for anyone to use. Sure comes in handy after being at Quartzsite for 5 days.
The casino is real nice and with good food.
Thanks Mac for you posts, I enjoy them and I'm sure it helps others.
Janet
