Last year was my first year with a TT. I did a search on line and found some checklist used by other campers. I edited them to meet my needs and broke them down as follows,
1- Camping equipment: blocking, hoses, cords, and other things that are left in the camper.
2-Cooking equipment and non perishables:towels, toiletries, spices, pots, pans and other items that are left in camper.
3- Clothing
4-Food
I will go over my list this year when de-winterizing, and before a trip and make sure I have everything that we will need. During a trip I keep a list of items I need to restock.
This time of year it's time to freshen up linens and start moving in staple foods and spices, and dry foods. I have tubs of stuff that was removed in the fall kept together and ready to go back in. Still a little cold here but as it gets warmer I'll move in canned foods and liquid items removed to prevent freezing damage. Perishable food and water go in just before the next trip. I have a lists of things to check to be sure they are in before we leave (kitchen list, toolbox list, dog stuff, etc). The lists go with us and get modified periodically. You will find that you add items from time to time and also discover you have been hauling stuff around that you just don't use any more. Pull them out to reduce weight. I also like to take a short shakedown trip somewhere close early in the season to help figure out what I've forgotten this year. I was planning to bring home the MH this weekend and start the process but had to shovel about 8" of springtime out of the driveway this morning. Maybe in a couple weeks.
Good luck, you'll have it figured out soon.
