I am looking to purchase a new 5th wheel and have narrowed my selectoin down to 2 models a Kinsgton KF35GB and a Montana Mountaineer 345DBQ. They both are quality products and the layouts are what we are looking for. I really just want to hear what others think of the manufactures, the quality of their products and any experiences you would like to share.

I have an'08 Montana and IMO the quality is below average. I have had 15 major problems that required warranty work. My dealer is OK but I found Keystone RV customer service lacking.

Crossroads has a 2 yr warranty over the 1 yr. Keystone. Both owned by THOR. Both built with similar frames, roof, appliances.
I'd buy the one YOU feel comfortable in.

I've had several brands with the last two from Keystone. I've never seen the Kingston so I couldn't compare.

Keystone service has been great to me after warranty runs out. During warranty, you're at the mercy of the Dealer so choose the Dealer wisely. Beyond that, just go with the one your thinking about (hahaha nobody is on the fence that tight), there is no wrong decision.

With CrossRoads, I did not have to deal with the dealer, it has never been back after the purchase. The small issues I did have were worked out with the factory. A great company.

I've got an 08 Mountaineer bunkhouse I bought last fall. So far we've spent about a month and a half in it and pulled it about 4K miles. Minor break in issues ( a couple of water line fittings not completely tightened, ceiling fan quit, vent fan quit) that were quickly fixed under warranty. We just got back from a week long trip and the electric element in the water heater quit working, so I've got to get that changed out. Over all, I'm very happy with the trailer.

Never heard of a kingston but weve got a 2007 Mountaineer, after 1 full season its been 100% trouble free. Our previous 5er was a Forest River product and we werent interested in owning another one.

We have an 07 Montana and love it. No problems so far! I think you will find that all RV's have some problems.
