Wondering who will be staying closer to their home because of the gas prices?
I have a trip planned from St. Louis to the panhandle of Florida, but am still planning on going.
The high gas prices are making me think twice about upgrading to a travel trailer from a pop-up though.

We will be making a couple of longer trips this year for family gatherings. I am, however, trying to save diesel as I can. We rarely drive the truck opting for the hybrid instead. It's not near as much fun, but who can argue with 38mpg?

Just got back from Topsail near Destin, FL and the campground was full to over flowing. Gas wasn't bothering anyone last week.
Leave bread crumbs along the way only if you want to come back down the same road.

I'll probably "B" traveling more, as the Sprinter gets four times the mpg of the old "C". Diesel is more than gas, but I'm still ahead by 200%.

We have a trip planned for May to TopSail and we are still going. No more than we get to play, we will pay the price for fuel. It is about 5 hrs from the house. Also have another trip planned for July and intend to make it too.

Hmmmmmmmm.............. lets see,,,,, fuel or food? fuel or food? fuel or food? fuel or food? fuel or food? fuel or food? fuel or food? fuel or food? fuel or food? fuel or food? fuel or food? fuel or food? fuel or food? fuel or food? fuel or food? Ahhhh, hurts my head!! Tough call. I'm working on it but until I break this nasty eating habit I think I'll have to cut some trips out. Hate that.
