Danged right we will cut back, wayyyy back. We were planning a trip to AZ for the summer but will not go. Just a stuborn streak in me says that I will not put up with the extortion the oil companies are stomping us with. I will not play their game.

That's my feeling too, the money is put aside for our
season already no matter the fuel prices, but I don't want to throw good money away in fuel, I'd rather stay close to home and eat the money away at restaurants. Also, I don't want to spend all my time driving anyway, I'd rather be camping.

The great thing is that I don't have to travel very far. I only have so much to spend. I get to decide how I will allocate my funds. If I spend it on gas, the local community will get less of my dollars. I have lots of time to do what I want and if I don't, I won't care.

No changes here. Although we can't control the price of fuel, this is what myself and my family love to do. And we will continue to do so.

Surely gas prices are affecting everyones decisions! In our case, we just give up other things so we can camp! We don't go to the movies hardly ever, we've cut way back on Starbucks, we don't go out to eat as much and we really try to be more conservative at home. We have too much invested in our RV and camping equipment to let it sit in the driveway!

I don't think that the price of fuel will ever drop substantially. We will be doing our traveling now to save money. Who knows how high the price of fuel will go. At least I have myself convinced.

Diesel prices have definitely made us stumble but not down.
We will be camping closer to home most of the summer. I
have made 2 weeks reservations in Smokeys (500 miles one way)
last of July and August. I miss eating at Cracker Barrel, but
something had to go. Ya'll take care.
