I hope someone can tell me I'm just having a nightmare. I was ready for $100-$110, but $160? I'm in Ohio - are they that costly where YOU live?

Cost of metals including lead are rising,Ive got a old sailboat keel going to a keel foundry in a few weeks and its worth big bucks. The value of the US greenback(worldwide)doesn't help.

A few months ago I was quoted $75 at a golf cart shop and about $300 on the internet. Be sure to check around.

My local Costco has the US Battery US2200 golf cart battery at 232 amp hrs for $79.
I paid $63 each a year ago for four of these and they are doing great.
I don't know if Trojan is better but at twice the price I know they are not twice as good.

I just priced group 24 batteries at Costco. They are $58. This would imply that a T105 contains three times more energy than a group 24.

All batteries are going up in price because of a big jump in the price of lead. Trojans seem to have gone up more than any of the others. I think I am going to switch to the Costco brand.

Take care of your Trojans and they will last a long time. I have two (1 set)that are 7 years old and 2 (1 set) that are 4 years and still going strong. I only use two (1 set)at a time as I have a Perkoe switch and switch between the 2 sets when one set gets low. But Batteries are all going UP due to the high price of Lead.
