all brands have loyal owners/fans. it's like asking what's better, Ford, Chevy or Dodge? every brand will have someone prefer theirs over other brands.
i can say that the best selling hybrids are: Roo, Starcraft and Jayco.
they make up the majority of hybrids purchased, at least on the hybrid forums.

The 'Roo or the Trail-Lite. We have a Trail-Lite (1998 B17) that is still going strong and are very happy with. We would buy another one. On the otherhand, friends had a 'Roo which they were very happy with too. FWIW, I find that older folks take better care of things simply because they have the time to do so.

Well I really appreciate everyones opinion, bias or not. Your the ones with the experiance not me. I think we have narrowed it down to two of the three now. We are going to travel about 2.5 hours tomorrow morning to look at the Starcraft-this owner is also retired- and see if we like it as much as we think, if not its the Roo.

Oh another quick question. Does having or not having a freezer a big deal? Have you ever found yourself saying damn I wish we had a freezer? The reason I ask is because the Starcraft has one and the Roo does not. Thanks

I'd vote for the freezer. It's one of my favorite things about our HTT. Of course, I'm the DW; DH likes the floor space (we have a slideout). If having frozen foods along on a campout is not a big deal to you, then don't worry about it. What's most important is what kind of shape each trailer is in. If there's a big difference, then pick the one that's in better shape.

I agree I am a DH and we love our freezer. But I am sure we could make do if need be. We like to carry alot of frozen veggie as fresh veggies take up alot of space.

I would look at floor plan(storage/space etc.) and condition of the rig first. I would look at as many as you can before making your decision. Maybe look at a couple new ones so you can get aquainted with the layouts. But as you said time is a factor. So I would maybe look at similiar rigs online. Maybe search for HTT's on rvusa dot com or rv trader dot com.
