Yup, it's back and moving through the legal process to make it law.

Just hope if it becomes law there will be plenty of signs to inform people that blocking traffic in the left lane is a no, no.

Fl. already has the Emergency Vehicle Move Over Law but most people are not aware of it.

All we have is the "If there are 5 or more vehicles behind you, move over at the first safe place and let them go by" law.
It is seldom enforced.

They passed that law in Utah last year, it only applies to the inside lane.

UHP has written tons of tickets to violators who wont move over for impeding traffic.

Around here they have a law something about "inciting road rage". It is used for prosecuting tailgaters so I imagine it might work for left lane hogs.

Any law is worthless without enforcement.

Anyone in the left lane holding up traffic (regardless if they are driving the speed limit" deserves two tickets in MHO. One for holding up traffic and one for being stupid.

Agreed - they passed the move-over-law here in Colorado a few years back - never seen it enforced!

We need that here in the northeast, these idiots think the only lane they can drive in is the left lane no matter what speed their going.
