to me he is a well overrated blowhard who HIRES the phoniest guests and got a degree (if you want to call his psychology degree a degree) from a on line college in tx. that happened to get hooked up with opray who made him a name. If he ever had a guest that had a real problem he wouldn't have a clue. How he lasted this long is the real wonder.

I don't watch him or listen to him. I guess that tells you what I think of him.

I can't stand him either....My mother loves him though...and I can always tell when she watches him. She starts coming up with all sorts of "memories of a bad childhood" or some such. I get really tired of it all.

Degree or no degree, he spouts a lot of common sense. Some of his shows look like something just put together to fill up space, but now and then he addresses some real issues.
Actually his common sense approach is much like Judge Judy...my favorite.

If it wasn't for Dr.Phil I would not have found inner peace:

By following this simple advice heard on the Dr. Phil show, you, too, can find inner peace. Dr. Phil proclaimed, 'The way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things you have started and have never finished.' So, I looked around my house to see all the things I started and hadn't finished, and before leaving the house this morning, I finished off a bottle of Merlot, a bottle of Zinfandel, a bottle of Bailey's Irish Cream, a bottle of Kaluha, a package of Oreos, the remainder of my old Prozac prescription, the rest of the cheesecake, some Doritos and a box of chocolates. You have no idea how freaking good I feel right now. Please pass this on to those whom you think might being need of inner peace.
