By following this simple advice heard on the Dr. Phil show, you, too, can find inner peace. Dr. Phil proclaimed, 'The way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things you have started and have never finished.' So, I looked around my house to see all the things I started and hadn't finished, and before leaving the house this morning, I finished off a bottle of Merlot, a bottle of Zinfandel, a bottle of Bailey's Irish Cream, a bottle of Kaluha, a package of Oreos, the remainder of my old Prozac prescription, the rest of the cheesecake, some Doritos and a box of chocolates. You have no idea how freaking good I feel right now. Please pass this on to those whom you think might being need of inner peace.

Hey sis, I didn't know one could be from Ridgecrest and still have a sense of humor.
Your reply is a riot!! And it does work, by the way.

You have to have a sense of humor to live in Ridgecrest
I love the desert, it is a great place for me to expand my photography..I find the desert beautiful in it's own way. Besides I live across the street from the Naval bombing range, what could be better than that? Nothing like an Earth shaking Boom to wake you up in the morning

You actually had some unfinished Cheesecake! Must not have been a good NY Style Cheesecake.

As far as Dr. Phil....ah....nothing good to say so I'll keep my mouth shut.

Well... I often tell folks I have a low opinion of psychologists to begin with, and when they write a book the opinion goes even lower.

Then Dr. Phil comes along and has to insert himself into all sorts of situtations where he's be better off butting out instead of in.

So, he sets a new standard for "Depth of Wagon Rut"

As in "Lower than a snake's belly in a wagon rut"

He's lower than a snake's belly in a wagon rut in Death Valley

My DW likes him, me not so much. He bores me. It was interesting when he showed up at the hospital and tried to force himself into the Britney Spears debacle. They threw him out and Spears refused to allow him to capitalize on her problems.

Back in the beginning of his appearances on Oprah he was almost likeable... and now, well now he's just another celebrity with a trash TV show. Last time I tried to watch I could hardly believe that he has sunk so low. A polished Jerry Springer is a good way to describe what I saw.
