If you have a GPS system, when at you favorite camp site, or point of interest, post the longitude and latitude numbers and we can all look it up on Google Earth. They often have pictures now.
This could be fun.

I live in a scenic area, with lots of tourists, and RVs look around.

OK,

Google this place then, and see if you like it.

N36* 44.316
W 118* 57.911

It is home to many trees.

Another nearby place is this one. You might reconise the rocks if you have been there.

N37* 44.353
W 119* 34.065

So how do I get to the pictures?

Fred.

My favorite spot is where ever my camper is located except for the driveway. This weekend it will be at Veterans State Park. These coordinates are not exact, but it will get you into the campground. 31 57.089 N, 83 54.565 W.

To display the picture, I used my Google Earth. You enter the coordinates as follows: 37 44.353 N, 119 34.065W. Golden_HVAC's coordinates are from Yosemite N.P.

At this juncture my all-time favorite spot is the one we always return to, at N30-32.68 W099 30.99,....it's the spiffy cottage with the motorhome parked in the back,....but I'll just save you the trouble:

Agawa Canyon Park - north of Sault Saint Marie Ontario. Can only be accessed by train or on foot.

47.24.58.26N 84.56.55W

We camped in Sault St. Marie and took the Canyon Camp Car to the park. They drop the car on a siding in the park and the only other people in the park are the two rangers that maintain the park in a pristene condition.

If it's listed in the Yellow Pages, the government shouldn't be messing around with it.
