We have been working on the TT the last couples of Sundays getting ready for the season. I have her all ready to use except the water. I am not draining the lines till mid April in case we keep getting cold snaps here in Ohio. But that is not stopping us. We are headed out this evening to camp. Looks like it will be a chilly night (low 30s) but tomorrow will be in the 40s. I am taking lots of warm clothes and some videos in case it is to cold for outside. I am so excited I had trouble sleeping last night with all the thinking of what I had to take etc. Geesh like a kid at Christmas. Will take lots of water and will be using the shower house this trip but I am so looking forward to using the Hornet again. Heres to a great yr of camping!

You are a lucky one, I'm jealous. We still have snow up here, been dreaming of summerizing the TT, but so far just dreaming. Still too cold....Maybe in a few weeks!! Happy camping and have fun getting the TT ready to go...

We are getting our little rig ready. We have down sized from a 34' motor home to a 26.4' travel trailer. We can't wait for spring to get here in Minnesota. More snow and cold coming.

The owner of our campground had the Bobcat out last week clearing snow from the roads in anticipation of the April 15th opening.

As soon as the DW wakes up we're headed for Salt Fork SP (around Cambridge, Ohio). Some friends will join us later and Saturday is dinner at a great winery over there. We've been out several times this winter. I don't mind winterizing the water system because of the enjoyment we've had.
Ohio's got the best SPs I've ever stayed in.

Just scouted Salt Fork last Sunday afternoon. Only could get in as far as Section C, Electrics only. The road was blocked right after that point, probably not opened up until April 1. There were 5 rigs in there camping. One in a Popup! It was in the 20's that night.
Sure did see lots of deer, never seen that many in one place roaming freely and right on the roads too, standing and walking around grazing the open areas of the woods.

Iv'e been fortunate this year to not really have to put the trailer away.... February was warmer than March.... and it's snowing here tonight... but were planning on heading to the WA coast anyway. Getting away for a short weekend in the camper beats staying home. Have a fun safe trip.
