Sorry that you didn't get better news. You're still in my thoughts and prayers.

campincandice, I'm so sorry about your DH's health. Praying that you and DH get to make an avalanche of precious memories.

For both of you, JJ and cc, I agree with Dshultz, don't keep things bottled up.

Jackie,
I just saw this! I'm so sorry of the news that you received. I just want you to know that we will be praying for everything to turn out right, for this cancer to be beat! Please know that you are in our hearts and prayers!

Remember the words to this song:

God will make a way
Where there seems to be no way
He works in ways we cannot see
He will be my guide
Hold me closely to His side
With love and strength
For each new day
He will make a way

(((Hugs)))

bad news is never easy to take, lots of prayers and good wishes here along with alot of support. the main thing with fighting cancer is to never give up, always keep up the good fight, most cancers can be licked if found soon enough.

My prayers are with you, your family and especially those that will be taking care of your husband. Being one who has gone through bladder cancer and has been cancer free for over 15 years, my wife and I understand what you are dealing with.
I will always remember that day I received the news. I will also remember those that were there for us during that time. I have been very blessed.
Take care and I will say a pray for you.

Thank you all for the prayers, good thoughts and PM's. I actually slept for the last two days. I just didn't want to deal with any thing yet. This morning I got up, went to church and feel better. I KNOW we can beat this.

An amazing thing happened. I have 3 adult sons. They tell every one that DH is not only like their dad, but he is their best friend. They all show up to talk to DH. Their message was that they would stand with him, support him, and even hold him up if needed and that we would ALL fight this together. Made my heart go all soft and mushy.

With God on our side and friends like you all, our families and our church family, we have got it made. And, his daughter called us to tell us that his ex had stood in for him for prayer at their church. I am glad that she and I can get along. She has even called him a couple of times to wish him well.

Thanks again!

Your family is in my prayers too. May you feel the comfort of the Lord as you go through this journey. Remember the one who loves us, sent his own here to die for us. God Bless!
