On a recent trip to Nashville, we got to the campground and were setting up when suddenly the propane alarm started sounding. I hit the shutoff button.
Shortly, DW says, "I smell something funny." So do I. But we can't find it.
The alarm, located just below the refrigerator, goes off again. I notice a small amount of liquid on the floor and clean it up.
A little while later, DW opens the fridge and immediately, the alarm goes off.
Turns out a tequila bottle with a couple inches of liquor in it broke. Even after cleaning the fridge thoroughly, the fumes from that tequila still set off the propane detector a couple of times that day!
Strong stuff.
