Today April 11th 2008 I officially took the camper out of mothballs and have it on the truck. Tomorrow I'm going somewhere in it. Will have to go out of the area as everything close is snowed in. Only option is a snow park.

I actually made it through the -24f temperature this winter and didn't break anything!!!! Will have to keep the heater going or back to the pink stuff as it's been in the 20's everynight for weeks.

We just de-winterized ours on 4-4-08. Since then we've gotten a foot of snow and it's in upper 20's currently. Keeping the inside heated with electric heater and cabinet doors open.
Even when it was winterized we used ours twice in early January just before we went in the below zero range. couple nights in March and twice in April.
Ready for dry, warm days and sunshine...

Just de-winterized mine 4-19-08. Sheeeesh. What a wait! I'm using it tonight though. Party at my buddy's house. I won't be driving home, instead, I'll be plugging in

Well, I dewinterized about a month ago, travelled to Oliver last week and had three days of good camping.
Yesterday I should have winterized because this morning it was -12 and light snow at the home base!

Still winterized here in N.E. VT We are having Summer weather now but it won't last. Hope to de-winterize the end of April. I'm still working on the big snowbank in front of the camper.

Yee Haw! Loaded up the Lance today, sanitized and filled the water and we are off to the North Woods of Wisconsin tomarrow! $4.149 per gallon Diesel here and we say the heck with it, we are going to do what we bought this thing for until we just plain can't. This is still the best way to travel, and we NEVER have "lost luggage".

My last snow pile melted here on Sunday April 20 that would be a new record. I filled her up with water tested all the systems and we are ready. Now if I can just find some time to go.

Finally flushed everything today, April 22nd. Just got it out of storage yesterday. No trips plan till 2nd week in May so I didn't see any reason to jump the season. One leak by the pressure tank that showed up on our last trip last Fall that only shows up if you allow the system to stay pressurized that I need to fix. I have had a hard time getting plastic fittings to stay leak proof. Had a lot of problems when I put it in.
