Does your insurance ever go after his, or can you take them to court? Just curious.

We too are interested in taking the tour. Do you just call ahead and get set up for a time?

If he had valid insurance at the time (we think he only had liability insurance but not even sure about that) our insurance company will then sue him personally (and maybe his insurance company?) to recover and and all costs...I can go after his insurance company to reimburse me the deductible we have to pay (again assuming his insurance was in place)...

They offer tours at 9:30 and noon. No need for an appointment.

So glad to hear all is well with you guys, and that only the truck and Designer got hurt.

As far as the Jayco tours, the only time an appointment is needed is if you do the motorized tour.

Like I said I never saw thw wife run so fast around the front of the truck after we stopped from getting hit...she prevented me from getting out of the truck and going after the other driver...careless, incompetent people speeding these days who ony care about themselves, at least some of them...

May get the truck back late next week(???) and not sure about the Designer...insurance adjuster finally came out this past Tuesday (1 week later!) and is checking the costs that the Jayco dealer quoted to fix the Designer (I still find it funny someone who doesn't know RV's checking the prices of someone who repairs Jayco's on a daily basis)...anyways hope to see you all on the road again real soon

I am new to this thread but it seems to be the right place to ask this question. Is there a fresh water tank drain, other than the low point drain (it is very slow) and where is the hot water by-pass on my Eagle 299RLS? Neither of these seem to be in the book.

Thanks

Yes. It should be at the very back where the fresh water tank is located.

On our Designer it is at the very back on the drivers side of the RV concerning the fresh water tank drain...

Concerning the bypass valve ours is located in the pass thru compartments under the bedroom, drivers side, inside another compartment on your right...
