Been a while since I've been in a Sams. but from what I hear they sell the low end of the battery quality spectrum. Costco's sells out of not the top band (Trojan) but the #2 band US-Battery and Interstate are in the #2 band

I like my trojans... in my current 5ver I have 2 pair... the issue for me was my 2 year old interstates were frozen... That sucked. They were in storage for the winter and then my 5ver somehow mysteriously was unplugged and they slowly ran down I would presume and then froze... I got the new ones T-105s installed and then... now I have an issue... I am planning to purchase a 2005 coach this week that has what seem to be good batteries. However they are probably 3 years old. If I want to ad a couple of additional pairs are things going to be seriously screwed up. Will I drain and charge as they are different ages to the point I will only get a couple of years out of the batteries. Should I bite the bullet and buy 8?

I was stuck in Salt Lake City when my Trojan T-105's finally died. I had been planning to replace them with Lifeline AGM's. Alas, there was nobody in Utah that sold the Lifeline batteries.
I called AM Solar in Eugene, Oregon and they had the Lifeline manufacturer (near Los Angeles) direct ship six new Lifeline batteries. They arrived via UPS Freight. The driver brought his truck directly to my RV site and we offloaded the batteries one by one off of his truck (he kept the empty pallet).
I was able to fit six model GPL-6Ts in the space where I had the four T-105s. I went from 450 amp hrs. to 900 amp hrs. This model is taller than the T-105, Trojan makes a taller battery too, the T-145.

I face the same problem in Yuma this winter. Fortunately there was a Trojan dealer there. I dislike Interstate batteries, I have never had one that lasts over 3 years, in fact I also had to replace my coaches starting motor battery, in was interstate, took in to the dealer there in Yuma and it also didn't go over 3 years and they pro rated it and I had to pay $50. they claimed that battery cost $99. Yeah, right! I had a Delco battery in my pickup, a 6 year battery, it went 7 years. I paid $240.00 for my two Trojans, expensive but they are the best.
