We're in the market for a new 18'-21' HTT and I was wondering if you could change ONE thing about your camper what would it be? Please list your trailer make and why. I'm not looking for any good things just one bad thing.
Thanks, Dave

i wish i had the extra 6" that the newer Roos have. that would make the back "hall" wider and easier to move around in and the living floorspace wider in our Roo 23SS.
as far as storage, i thought i'd need more outside storage but i've yet to use all the interior storage.
i think everyone would love larger outside storage, like a 5th wheel or motorhome, for things like chairs, bikes, etc...
but i don't think any TT has that kind of room.

We love our Kiwi 17a. For a short while, we wanted something a little bigger, if only for a bigger bathroom. Then we laid down 'til the thought went away. Seriously, we've had ours for 5 years now and really have no desire or need for a replacement. Keep in mind that its just my wife and myself.

Only 2 complaints really. As others have said, low clearance. It hasn't been a big problem, but its annoying sometimes. I do know that you can buy a lift kit for the newer ones and have it installed by the dealer.

The second is small holding tanks. Our black tank is only 6 gallons. The new 17 EXP has a much larger black tank. But watch out, we saw a couple of smaller HTTs and TTs at our recent show that had 6 gal black tanks.

We have a starcraft antigua and have been extremely pleased with it.

Our biggest issue is trying to find more time to camp.

Jayco 23B here with no major complaints. No issues with heating, holding tanks, condensation, etc.

Low clearance is a concern and frankly the interior is fairly butt-ugly.

Only 1 ? I can't decide. They are as follows in order
1. No way to block out noisey neighbors aside from, maybe, running the fabn on A.C..
2. Rain! We camp year round and often have to set up again when we get ho,e.
3/ Security. Cannot lock up HTT unless bunks are folded up.
The good outweigh's the bad but you do not want to hear about that. The cup is half full my friend.

Number one reason we ordered a TT, We hated climbing over eachother in the middle of the night to use the restroom or in the morning when one woke up before the other.

I agree trying to find time. Was out New Years then Easter so we are going out the first weekend in June.

The only problem we have is that where ever we go, the wind follows. Had our HTT 2.5 yrs and saw the awning 3x. This past trip at 2 am taking in the awning. Ugh!

Jayco Kiwi 23B.

Would have liked a bit more elbow room in the shower.

Otherwise, a great rig and layout.

We have a Trail Sport 191 and queen on one end and full on other and you must crawl over to exit but have nice 5" mattresses. Sadly our popup had two kings and crawling over a non issue. A plus though is the dinette and couch bed can be used without climbing over to get to bunk ends. outside storage meager but inside is plenty.
