I have a JAYCO 232 and love it. The usual gripes - shower too small, not enough storage - but it's a temporary enjoyment not a home. My family spends 90% of the time outside anyways. I would definitely buy it again...love to hear the rain on the canvas and the sound of waves hitting the beach. I borrowed my friends TT and couldn't hear anything outside - felt like I was at home not camping.

I have had the opportunity recently to stay in a new 32' Class C and a 2000 33' TT. I was in both of them all by myself for several days each. The TT had a living room slide and the MOHO had the rear bed and a sofa slide. I enjoyed the larger bathrooms and unencumbered room to some degree. The MOHO was tight in the galley area but had some nice features.
Going into my third season with the ROO I really like what I have. Some of my mods have enhanced the livability and practicality. I like my floorplan. Sure, setting up and taking down in the rain can be problematic and one still has to store things with some degree of order before heading out.
As Chuck always offers, camping in a HTT with tentage is still being close to the outside with many amenities. A smaller shower or crawling over one's significant other is not a big deal really.
If I hit the lottery perhaps I would go out and spend big bucks on something newer and more opulent but for now my ROO is just fine.

I wish it weighed 1,000# less and the roof went up and down for better towing mileage and garage storage ability. If only they made campers like that....
OK, so I'm a popup guy out trolling.

We have a Kodiak 160. We love it. However, if the dinette were to the side and a little more counter top, it would be tops. But what do you want with a 16 footer?

Ditto! At night we slide the dinette all the way to the streetside. It makes it a little easier to get in and out. When I know it's going to be a nice trip (weather wise) we will use the dinette outside and have the extra room inside!
Why am I always putting my 2 cents in when it's only a penny for your thoughts?

We have a Kodiak 195 and love it!!The only things that i would change are:I would like a bathroom window(small one),add a storage door one the back(to the right of the spare)to access the wasted/unused space there, and relocate the furnace/vent to the street side of the trailer, because i get a little nervous having it so close to the door when the little ones are going in/out(it gets very hot).

No major complaints from me. I rather enjoy the setup and take down of our unit (only one tip-out bunk). Although we have a lot of storage, I could always wish for more. The dinette is a little tight and not really comfortable for our late night RummiCube tournaments, but doable.
DW absolutely hates the crack in the mattress and has promised to get a topper for the thing (she elected to sleep on the inside and so gracefully accepts the crack for now).
I'm constantly worried about filling the holding tanks on longer stays but we've been camping as long as 6 nights in a row and although the control panel says we're full, I haven't overflowed the thing yet.
What we do like about the HTT unit is that on nice days you can open the tent flaps of the bunkends and you feel like your outdoors. It makes all the little drawbacks pale in comparison. We absolutley love this about our HTT.
Happy Campin'.

Oohhh...and some nighttime things I love...sleeping with tent flaps down and hearing the campground/nature sounds...but I imagine the rest of the campground is trying to figure out how to shut that snoring out of their nighttime sleep (I'd put an overweight lumberjack to shame in the snoring department...)

1. My DW did not like crawling over to sleep in the outside end of the bed.
2, Not having a slide which made it tight for moving around inside with just 3 of us.
On the up side I miss the poor mileage I had with the HTT compared to the current TT.

Robocop Suggested winning the lottery . However, I agree with the above statement about feeling like your at home and not camping.
If I win the lottery; I'm going to design a 5th wheel camper with the hybird bunks out the back so that way I still hear all the sounds of camping but have all the interior and exterior luxuries of space for my family of four .
But hey if I'm that rich why not.
