we have a similar situation as you. We live in Tx (brazoria county) & have a KZ toyhauler that's insured for replacement cost of 38k with the other insurances being similar to you. We pay $650-700 a year thru progressive. We got numerous quotes from all kinds of agents & organizations & this was the best we could do. We too saw that others were getting ins. much cheaper, but not sure of the details of their coverage. Like i said, what we're paying is the best we could do. I posted a few messages about our insurance search and what we found out when we did it if you're interested in reading more about it.

That is crazy expensive for trailer insurance.
On my 44 foot WW the insurance is like $200 a year with 1k deductible... I use State Farm which is what my house, most of my cars, boat... are also with.

Big problem is each state and zip code of that state can potentially have a different rate for the same unit with same coverage. Then add to that the variables your driving record, credit score and claims history add to the puzzle -it is no wonder you hear such widely different prices being paid..... All you can do is get as many quotes as you can stand pursuing -then decide.
If you are a homeowner with multiple insurance companies covering different parts of your insurance umbrella -it maybe cheaper at the bottom line with one carrier that provides overlapping layers of coverage instead of individual carriers with discrete layers of coverage.
