We have not used the system to change a tire. We prefer to use a hydraulic jack and do it the regular way.

Because of uneven ground, we have had the fiver off all six wheels...but then managed to use a board or two to re-level. It just seems a bit "shakey" to have all six wheels off the ground.....

I just saw them on a Durango 325SB like mine and they wanted 5k to install them? Think thats a little too much since they took me for almost 3k for the Pullrite SG installed. They did look pretty neat and to mess and no fuss.

We have BigFoot on our FW. It was a factory option. As others have posted, the capacity of each of the four hydraulic jacks is enough to lift the entire trailer off the ground. I would order the same option again without a second thought. The system is not cheap but if I wanted to be cheap, I’d still be camping in a tent.

In the mail today got an offer from Bigfoot for a new EZE leveling system for $2675 plus shipping. Also a $250 rebate when warranty is activated. Less money than when we checked prices a few months ago.
Had Bigfoot on the class A and wouldn't hesitate to put them on the 5'er if I had the cash. Great company with excellent customer support.

I had the 'BigFoot' installed on my latest 'New Horizons' 5er.
I got it "thrown in for free"**, (ahem), by putting up a 10% down payment within a month of the factory tour.

**(I gotta' think tho, that this 'freebie',...or a portion of it...was recouped somewhere along the line).

The fact remains, however, that I'd have purchased the trailer AND the leveling system irregardless. My spine has been fused at 11 levels, and because of that, IMHO, (and the fact that I'm basically lazy),....it has paid for itself already.

Thanks everyone for the info. It has been very helpful. I'd heard about the Bigfoot but had been told they couldn't be used on 5er's because they weighted so much. From the info you have sent, I've checked out Atwood and Powerplus and they sound good, too.

Bigfoot web site. No hoses to run as each jack is self-contained. the new EZE system is pretty small.
