We are going to a local State Park for a long weekend. Third outing for new rig and last before a five month trip. Excited and/or anxious would be a good word for the upcoming summer.

We are! Permanently! Moving into our TT. my oldest DS will be camping with his scout troop at the Chickamauga Battlefield and we will make Holiday Trav-L-Park our residence for a while.
If you visit here - look in the long term area for our new rig, it's in an end spot near the dumpster (whoo hoo!)

We are finally expecting 62 degrees Saturday and sunny dry weather  , it's been a long cold winter and spring so far. We're heading up to our seasonal site to dewinterize since the water is finally turned on.
We went up for one night 2 weekends ago and stocked with toiletries and other essentials, we still have alot of stuff to take up this weekend, too much according to DH  . We're all really excited about finally starting the season, DH might actually get to take the fishing boat out on the lake!

This is our first trip ever in our new 31 foot capri coachman. I hope all goes well. Lancaster, pa or bust! It is about an hour and half drive.

We will be heading out this weekend for the first time in our new tt. We are going to Whitetail COE on West Point Lake,Ga. We can't wait.
They are calling for Rain Fri and Sat but they were wrong yesterday and last Sat. so maybe they will be wrong this weekend.
I don't know whats going on w/ the NOAA and local channels. We had a 80 percent chance of rain all day this past Sat. and high 65. It was sunny and in the low 80's. Yesterday it was a 80 percent chance of storms/60 percent for last nite. and we didn't get a drop. Watch them be right this weekend..lol

Pulled mine out of storage and brought it home to check out thorougly. Don't know if it counts or not, but we did manage to pull off two days of "street camping" in front of the house. Kind of a "dry run" to be entirely ready for the up-coming trips. Neighbors thought we were nuts, but I thinks jealousy deep down.

I am loading up my ATVs on the truck, hooking up the TT, and heading to Moab, UT tomorrow. That means I will be taking I-70 over the mountains and it will be snowing. Supposed to be around the 70 degree mark in Moab, I am in some need of warm weather and riding. We are meeting several others there, also from this side of the mountains. This will be my second outing this year.
