Is simple green a good safe product to clean a rubber roof? Any other suggestions/choices?

I think you can use it on anything, but as the instructions say, dilute it to 10% and apply to a small area before proceeding

It may be a bit harsh if not dilluted. But I would recommend Thetford Rubber Cleaner/Conditioner made for rubber roofs. JMO

Another vote for Thetford Cleaner/Conditioner. While I'm sure another detergent style cleaner may get it whiter, this is good enough for me (plus I'm not 13' tall. It makes a noticeable difference and I also like that it treats it at the same time.

I never use Simple Green straight out of the bottle. I treat it just like I would soap. Pour a little in a few gallons of water and go to work.

Watch out, this stuff, Simple Green is slippery as all get out. I broke both wrists after a fall when trying to walk through even a diluted solution as I was hosing it off of my driveway.

It cleans well, but be careful! Slippery - VERY!

Undiluted it will also strip the varnish off your kitchen cabinets if allowed to sit for any length of time-- ask me how I know. LOL

The instructions from Dicor that came with my RV (for EDPM rubber roofs) states "409 or like cleaner and 303 protectant"
