Our Legends came with the PVC hose storage tube right in front of the wheels, and close to the dump valves. Works very well, and especially close to the valves.

I'd throw the stinky slinky away and buy a sewer solution or macerator pump myself. when I did use a stinky slinky I slid a length of plastic rain gutter into my bumper to make it easy to slide in without catching on bolts, rivets, etc.

I went to Camping world and got the longest PVC sewer tube they had and mounted it in place of the one that came with the 30LSA. It just wasn't quite long enough. I also carry an extension just in case. Also, I have one of the accordian style sewer hose supports. I used to have the slunky and I have since trashed it.

We got some of our issues worked out at the dealer. We're looking forward to our first trip of the year in our 30LSA next week.

I store mine in the kitchen sink. Sometimes i let the DW wear it as a boa. She loves it and it looks good on her.

Seriously, I keep it in the bumper. it seems as good as place as any.

When I had a bumper, I alway stored the hose in the bumper - worked fine. On this new one, there is no bumper and the previous owner mounted a length of PVC pipe forward of the wheels to store the sewer hose and I have used that.

One change I made was to drill about 12-15 1/2" holes in the bottom of that pipe to allow water to run out and let the hose dry better.

I used this same idea only mounted it fore/aft and put a plastic floor drain on the forward end and drilled a few holes in the end cap to aid in air circulation and drying while driving.

the day before we leave a site I close the gray tank valve to let that tank fill. then when ready to leave the next day, dump the black, then the gray to clean the hose out, disconnect the hose and attach the two ends together and stow in a plastic tub that all the other sewer stuff goes in. that way you do not have to worry about any yucky water dribbling out

We store two sewer hoses (one short/one long) in two PVC pipes bungeed in the bed of the truck under the hitch. Easy access.

Store our's in a Rubbermaid container in my truck toolbox. I keep all the fittings and tank flusher there also. Two or three times a season, I fill it with water and a good amount of bleach to more or less sanitize the hose, hardware and container.

I do the same, except have the room in the basement to keep the container, and for the same reason. Pretty simple to fill with water and bleach once in a while for sanitizing. I always have a good patch of weeds somewhere near the parking area I want to kill anyway.
