Keep the sunshine coming! We are getting closer! I am putting in my order for sunny days about 50 - 60 degrees, dry and a little breeze. A perfect day for fishing and walking.

So, did anyone else go out last weekend or going this upcoming? We are hitting Seward again. Sealife Center is free on the 10th of every month for Alaskan residents.

We are going to Seward also this weekend. Look for us in a Big Horn 5th Wheel and a big silver Dodge Megacab.

Stop by and say hello.

Hello AK Dave
I know the feeling man! The melting snow, mud and then dusts.
Are the Barnacle Geese there yet?
We used to BBQ by the view point on New Seward Hi-way every April.
I know it's still cold but my summer in Alaska starts on April.
I've heard you guys got snowed 12" 2 weeks ago?
I missed the fresh air, nice people, nature, and relaxation. Also my family they are all in Anchorage. They told me they are going to KNIK river for the Memorial Day weekend I envy them.
I still have my parka 'cause I will be back someday.

Hi: So tell me what is the weather NOW and what's usually anticipated by the end of May for the Haines & Anchorage areas. We'll be on our way May 20, driving from NH to Alaska acting like new tourist to the area. Thanks

Well, right now it is sunny and 58 degrees. I know that sounds cold, but it really does feel warm.

I think I saw you as you were just setting up...were you on the back side on the end of the hookups...Resurrection campground? I did want to stop by, but we ended up losing track of time. Hope you had fun!

Yeah that was us. Where were you set up at? I wasn't sure which one was you or we would have stopped to say hello. This was only our 2nd time out with our 5er so we spend some of our time tweaking what is stored where and organizing.

I have my son working on us an rv.net sign.

We were in the Itasca Suncruiser Class A with a platform on the back wrapped in a blue tarp and we were in the hookups on the bike path. Spot R84 to be exact. Seward was busy this weekend. Don't think there will much chance of getting hookups along the water soon, at least not if it is on a Friday

Went Trout fishing on Willow creek this last weekend. Didn't catch a thing, but being out of Anchorage was priceless.

Del_B... Alaska awaits for you. Yes. The geese are here. The sun is out. The trees will be full in less than 2 weeks. Summer is upon us. Finally!

I for one won't be Home for a single weekend from now until late October.

Bout dang time! Winter is rough to wait out up here!
