I was at Camping World yesterday and seen this 5th Wheel Leveler (see link below), I read it and understand how it works but my question is is this how you level the front of a 5th wheel? I know I always try and level the wheels first and hope that does the trick.
I am new to this 5th wheel leveling as I have only been out 3 time in the 5th wheel, so how do you level the front end if your level shows off a little bit.

I would save my money, and use a extra piece of wood under the leg if it is not touching the ground as the other leg might be. some RV'ers like to have everything prefect when leveling there RV.

I agree,
You can just have a couple of pieces of wood of different thicknesses but unless you boondock most camp sites are fairly level.

This is used for when you're landing gear comes down on uneven ground. I just use 2 x 8 pieces of wood cut to about a foot long, and some 1/2" pieces about the same size to compensate for uneven ground.
I understand that levelers, like the ones you are looking at, also create A LOT of additional movement or wiggle in the trailer.!
I always level the 5'r side to side using leveling blocks (in my case just wood), then level front to back with the landing gear and rear jacks.

I totally agree with Trailer Trash 2 on this matter. There are many worthwhile products out there, but many more that are a waste of hard earned money.

Actually I have been considering getting one of those. Simply because some of the places I get into, once I get the it leveled side to side and drop the landing gear they are not always even and one will hit the boards before the other. I don't know, but I feel this is putting an unnecessary twist to the frame. JMO Maybe someone else could chime in...

I have to totally disagree. I use mine every time I go out. Never have I been on total level ground. Just a spin of the pad and both landing gear hit the ground at the same time. I don't have to stop and go get a 2x6 and put it under there. I think it's a great product. JMO

First of all you don't level a 5er side to side with the front jacks, you level side to side by using something like lego blocks or boards under the LOW side wheels and you do this before you unhook. When the 5er is level side to side, you use the front jacks to "Stabalize" the front of the 5er. Now when the ground is unlevel where the jacks hit the ground, you need something under the jack that does not hit the ground at the same time as the other jack does. That is what that product is for. Some are happy to use "Boards", some are happy to use that leveling device you are looking at. It is your choice, but I would be sure that both jacks hit the ground at the same time. Now you use these jacks to level Front to Rear, and then employ the rear stabilizers to steady the back, if you haev them.
