Do not do business with Holday Kamper RV via EBay if you can avoid it.
First of all, they insist you pay via Pay Pal. I did that.
I did not get a shipping confirmation as I normally do so I sent them an email which took nearly 24 hours to answer.
They said it was in stock and it would ship right away.
Then a I got a message that they cannot ship to a PO Box. They were not bright enough to look at EBay where the item was sold where my physical address is shown for UPS purposes.
For those that don't know, Pay Pal will not confirm your shipping address if you billing address is different. I do not get mail at my home by choice do to the parade of illegals that remove mail from rural route boxes in this area as they come over the border.
The seller also does not provide a shipping number.
Getting past all that the package arrived today. It's a Blue Ox Accessory Kit for the tow bar and base plate. The picture of the item and the description clearly shows 3 locks (1 for the receiver and two for the base plate) and the cover for the receiver mounted tow bar.
I got one receiver lock and no cover so I think they shorted me some $60-70 worth of merchandise.
I had to look the phone number up on the internet as they don't list it like most businesses do when you buy something from them. They also don't provide a phone number on the billing statement that comes with the package.
I will assume they don't want to be bothered.
I left them negative feedback and sent them a message about the missing parts and gave them 24 hours to ship them 2 day express. If I don't have evidence that happened I will file a dispute with both EBAY and Pay Pal.
Stay away from Holiday Kamper RV, Columbia, SC.
I have never had this much trouble buying things on the internet or EBay. I guess everyone has to take their turn at getting stung.

Just about everything I've purchased in the last five years was bought online or started as an online inquiry, including all my vehicles and RV. I had one bad experience with one "online" business similar to what you are describing and I got smart. These are my rules for buying online:

- Do they clearly show a physical address and phone and fax number?
- I call to make sure there's a warm body there.
- The warm body is happy to talk to me and offers to take my order over the phone.

If they can't do that they don't need my business. Too many people put up a website and carry no inventory. It's truly a virtual business, they're not even there to take calls and whatever you order gets shipped to you by a third party. The "business" you're ordering from is nothing but a front. They just turn around, order what you need from someone else and have it shipped to you.
They have absolutely no idea about product knowledge or if in fact you got what you ordered because they've never seen the product. Yes, CW is more expensive than others and they don't always do things right but there's always a body there to at least hear you out. There are many others, legitimate business trying to make an honest buck. Sure there's still a chance you'll get ripped off, but having a warm body with a building and inventory around them makes them want to protect their investment, and good name. Good luck. Maybe paypal can give some advice on recourse.

Normally on EBay you get the seller's phone number when you make the purchase along with the real email ID so you can contact them outside of EBay should the need arise.
This outfit did not even provide the phone number on the bill for the materials I bought.
And I will have you know that both my PO Box and my physical address are shown and are provided by EBay to the seller at the time of the sale.
The only thing the sell apparently wants to look at is the only address that Pay Pal will accept which is my PO Box.
I knew they would not ship to a PO Box and shipped UPS but my addresses are provided to them by EBay. They are either to dumb or lazy to look at their sales site to see it.
I have bought thousands of dollars over the internet and quite a bit of stuff from EBay merchants as well and never had a problem before.

Check with UPS, they should have a phone number from the shipper if they are a registered UPS shipper(shipping from their warehouse everyday)

May also want to see if UPS will pick it up and return it, you would have to pack it up just like it was when arrived.

look at the picture here then read the discription near the bottom of the page. I know this isn't the item, but you have to be careful.

The OP did state there was not a phone number to contact the seller, I also would have given negative feedback if product recieved was not as shown/displayed on the ebay site and had no other way to contact seller. Why should it be the buyer responsibility to VERIFY what the seller is selling. If the seller displays pictures and descriptions and what is recieved is different, that is plain deception and is one of the main reasons I think that the ebay rules have changed. No, I don't think the OP did anything wrong with the negative feedback. The seller did NOT deliver what was shown and expected, AND left the buyer with no way to contact them to avoid a negative feedback. Ebay is at the very bottom of places that I will use to get things because of all of the scams that abound there. Don't get me wrong, I have purchased from Ebay in the past and have had some great experiences, but it is definitely not my first choice ever.
