Here's another take on the maxair vents, they keep the uv's away from your vent covers which weather fast and become brittle. Not to mention the slightest little hail storm will puncture through a vent cover pretty fast. Like someone else mentioned, definately the first mod I do on the trailer.
The Maxxairs are much stronger and durable plastic than the stocks. A decent hail storm will break or crack the stocks and you are left with mess. We put them on for all the other reasons mentioned but it also gives us peace of mind when the TT is at the storage facility.
Besides all the other listed reasons, I like having them because when it's windy, you can leave your vents open without hearing them rattling around in the wind.

I ordered the smoke today, I spoke with Maxxair re: their window vents because I needed some extra parts for my trailer. I mentioned I was ordering the vent cover and he said to get the black one, it is really smoke and it will still let in light vs the white ones.
