This is for everbody who has been "Countin The Days".If you've seen some don't miss things or have warnings about some don't miss things,put em in here for the rest of us crazies who are makin the journey[even with the outrageous price of fuel].The Milepost 08 was printed this winter and things could have changed since then.[Hopefully for the better]Nothin like up to date road reports and interestin stuff to keep the wife and me On The Road To Alaska. I'll be here if my flaky laptop doesn't crash out on me.On The Road April 28,2008.

Make a sign with your name and hometown on it(out of wood or something durable) and put it up in the signpost forest at Watson Lake. There are thousands of signs from just about anyplace you can think of. Very interesting. Ours has been there since 1994.

Hey flylipsdaddy; I will be headed the direction 25 Apr heading to WI. Hope to be on hear during the rest periods, maybe we can share some info about our trips since we will cross paths along the highway. Have a safe trip!

I'm leaving on April 13 on a Whitehorse-Calgary-Kelowna-Whitehorse trip, going the Alaska Highway south and Stewart-Cassiar north. I spent the last month touring New Zealand in a campervan and now I need a road trip to learn to drive on the proper side of the road again!

Be spontaneous!

Computer wouldn't let me finish. Had to reboot.

We are leaving April 13, hopefully. Things are happening here that shouldn't. Moli (Lab) has bilateral ear infections, we need to replace windshield, need to patch up some paint and fix where DH backed MH into dirt pile. Hopefully all will be done by next Friday so I can spend Saturday cooking a birthday dinner for my DS who has just done us a very big favor.

The important things are packed. Books, beads, and for DH, beer.
