I am really enjoying all the posts!!! June 8 hurry up (our departure date). I did make reservations today for Banff and Jasper, plus a couple of Alaska cg in the ferry ports. CG in Juneau said they lost hydro plant elec power to an avalanche. No e at site, except metered. They will depend on diesel gen power until plants are up and running. The price of diesel will make e very expensive for them. They will allow genny, working out details now. Getting the itch, Kathy

We are in Watson Lake tonight. Far less than 1/4 full cg. Poor road conditions on 4 mean we go to Whitehorse tomorrow then up the Klondike hwy to Dawson. The ferry is supposed to resume operation on the 14th. Fantastic ride so far. Quiet roads. Good weather. We did an hour in Signpost Forest. We were the only people there!

HI!

We made it! We are now at Deep Creek. My air card doesn't work so I am in the library using their computer. The techs will try to work something out but after 2 hours on the phone with them, I had now solution. Maybe I will have to get something local.

The beach is beautiful and quite windy. We got in early afternoon on Mother's day and it seemed like it was packed for the weekend. Fishing has started a little for the locals. We are meeting nice people, and dogs.

See you when you get here.

We arrived this afternoon at the South Park RV Park near Prince George, BC, along Hwy 97. This is a great place to stay with full hookups and $$$$ WiFi if you are heading to Alaska from this direction.

On to Dawson Creek on Wednesday 5/14 for one night.

Safe travels everyone!

Gas here $4.42.

Fly,

Keep the warm temps there. It is perfect here. We could use some sunshine, but the temp is great. 60's, breezy.

All:

Had a bald eagle sit right outside our door today. Moli was oblivious to it. We have a crow who likes our roof. It sounds funny when he caws and runs back and forth.

So far things are quiet here but we expect things to pick up for the weekend.

See y'all.

Whitehorse tonight. Most likely dry camping somewhere between here & Dawson tomorrow. Using what must be the slowest WIFI in the world. CG that advertise having WIFI then have every exuse in the world why their WIFI 'just' went down today because of lightning or some other hairbrained reason are really getting tiresome.
