We have had a Eureka "Great Western 10" for about 25 years. I bought it when my wife and I were dating and we still have it. It was our 1st RV and it has seen many a camping trip and vacation. It's seen 4 people and dogs. It makes a great 2nd sleeping room when we go on long trips and invite nephews or our kids friends as well.
I just set it up this morning in the back yard to make sure all was still OK with it. I will be using it for my fishing club's "Crappie Fest" in 2 weeks because I can't tow my trailer and my boat ;-)

My thought also, I guess that is a "tent" stuck to the side, in a round about way????
I think you will want to be Chummy to sleep that many people in a tent you are talking about.
I have a "4 Person Tent " also, these must be VERY TINY people. ?????????????????????????????????
I couldn't figure that out either. I just wanted to show him how to make his pictures display smaller so people don't have to scroll over to read the posts.
Thanks guys for all of the advice. I found a Traildome 6 at Sportsmans Warehouse yesterday and decided to take a chance, after I asked about their return policy. I'm glad I kept my receipt. The tent is going to be too small for us and I was upset that it did not have the closeable mesh vents like the customer service person at Kelty told me it had. The floor was not a true 10x10, I guess that measurement was to the outside poles, but even that measurement was a few inches short of 10ft.
Also, I like to be able to stake a tent down between the corner poles for extra stability in stormy weather but there were no loops sown into the tent to do so.
BTW, Sportsmans Warehouse did have the best price I had seen on this tent - $179. It rang up $199 but they corrected it. They have a website but you cannot place orders on it yet.

It's either the Trail Dome 6 or the Meramac from Alps Mountaineering. The Meramac looks to have a large mesh panel on the sidewall and according to Kelty, the Trail Dome has closeable mesh panels which seems like a good idea.
Personally I don't like domes, prefering the rectangular. When I was running my guide biz, we'd have three tents set up: three of us slept in my 4 man Eureka Drawtight; 4 clients in the 10 square Eureka; a cook tent. Each had a rainfly and only opening was at the front.
