Hi all,
I am looking at buying a 2005 KZ Coyote 20C from someone but I have read many people saying that they have had problems with the tent portion of the camper. Maybe leaking and having to be replaced or perhaps detaching somewhat off of the camper?

Anyone know the general scoop on this. Obviously anything can happen to one or two camper but if they have an inherent problem I might have to think of other trailers. Note that I have not taken the drive yet to see it.

Anyone know what a reasonable price for a loaded trailer in this year is worth. The owner basically looked up the NADA value at $12,800

Thanks,

I don't think the tents tearing are exclusive to the KZ Coyote, you'll see others that have the same problem.

I've got an 03 23 c(with 3 tents) and I did have a problem with 2 of them ripping. I'm the 2nd owner, and KZ replaced shipped me 3 need tents for $300, a lot less than what the dealer wanted.

KZ Coyote does seem to have better customer service that some of the other manufactures.

Really can't help you with the price, maybe someone else here can.

Good luck.

NADA is highly inflated, it's for the dealer to use and then give you a special deal!

It has some utility but only if you do NOT add in the options and only if you look at Low Retai1 as an asking price. You should expect to pay less than the asking price as it's the starting point for negotiation.

I looked up the NADA on my '06 Roo 23SS last week and with options the NADA is several thousand dollars more than I paid for it new right off the lot! I don't believe for a minute it's worth that much.

When You look in NADA

use Low Retail with No Options

as a Guide
